Our Gear and Facilities
Our facilities are fully equipped with top of the line gear by TRS Custom Drums, Sabian Cymbals, Fender, Traynor/ Yorkville, etc. (supported by Long & McQuade and D’Addario Canada). All gear is in top shape. We use what the pro’s use (or you can bring your own). We have professional techs on hand to plug you in and get you sounding your best.

WALK-INS
Walk-ins are always welcome providing studios are available, but it is recommend that reservations are made in advance. Usually one day is good, but to make sure you get the room you want, reserving a week or two in advance is recommended.
EXTEND YOUR BOOKING
Extending your booking is not a problem provided the studio you have booked is not booked immediately after you.

Thirsty Ear Studios along with “The Farm” can record your session either live off the floor to CD or we can set your performance to Pro Tools for a top quality demo. Ask how we can set up a session for you and your band, or any solo session (rates will depend on what method of recording chosen).

guitar, amps, etc. If you need some gear fixed/cleaned or just checked out ! You can leave it with us and we’ll take care of it ($25.00 bench charge will apply).
RENTALS:
The Farm has in-house rentals, guitars, keyboards, drums, effects pedals. Please check with the office for rental rates.
We're gonna play you a song, a little bit of rock-n-roll. You gotta let yourself go, the band's gonna take control.
PAYMENTS / NO-SHOWS / CANCELLATION
Full payment is due at the start each session, If extra hours are needed, payment for extra time will be due at end of session. You may change or cancel your booking at anytime up to 48 hours before your scheduled time, without any fees or charges. Cancellation or charges within the 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows and same day cancellations will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee. If The Farm itself has to make changes in booked times and or dates you will be entitled to a FREE HOUR on your next booking.
TIME FRAMES AND REQUESTS
Please allow yourself enough time to set up and breakdown your own gear without infringing on the next person / band’s time slot. Please start to pack up 10 min. before your time is up. If a piece of equipment breaks or is broken when you arrive or you need technical assistance, please let the office know right away. We expect things to break down over the course of time and normal use. We will replace or repair any of our gear without any charges to you. However, we will hold those responsible for the gear that is damaged as a result of obvious negligence or recklessness.
PLAYERS ONLY / NO FOOD
A limited number of guests maybe admitted by requests, but at our discretion. This request must be done prior to you and your bands arrival for the session booked. NO FOOD allowed in the studios, drinks are allowed in the rooms but must be kept away from the equipment at all times.
